About G-AMNN
de Havilland Tiger Moth, built by Morris Motors in 1940 and flew on strength with RAF Czechoslovak 312 Squadron as a trainer and communications aircraft.
Sold to Chelsea Aeronautical College and operated as their club aircraft, taking part in several air races up to 1964, when it was used as a ground instructional airframe and placed into storage.
A 5-year restoration from 1992 by Northbrook Aeronautical College culminated in G-AMNN returning to the skies again in 1997 as ‘The Spirit of Pashley', Cecil Pashley having instructed at the forefront of Shoreham Airports aviation activities form 1911 to retirement in 1964, amassing over 20,000 hours instructing pilots of both world wars.
