So, you've had a taste of
what it's like to fly a light aircraft during your trial
lesson but your still not sure if you want to your continue
and get your 'Private Pilots Licence'. This is a quite a
common feeling once the excitement of the trial lesson has
faded a little.
Southern Flying Centre believe that the best
way forward is to gain a little more experience of what learning
to fly is all about and have designed a special offer 'PPL
Introduction Package' to provide this experience.
The course consists of 2 full
pre-flight briefings, 80 minutes total flying time, and 2 full de-briefs.
The object of this course is to introduce
you into the basic aircraft controls and to achieve a standard
whereby at the end of the two lessons you will be able to use
accurately the elevator, aileron, rudder, throttle, trimmer
and flaps. You will also learn how to use the steering and
braking systems of the aircraft and start to become familiar
with the flight deck instruments, radio communications and
pre-flights checks. The training and flying time provided by
this course will be logged and will count towards your final
PPL should you chose to continue your training.
